Terms of Service

Stowrk provides on-demand concierge storage services in New York City, including pickup of items from your location, secure storage of those items at partner facilities, and redelivery of items upon request ("Services").

By requesting a quote or booking our Services, you acknowledge that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal right to store the items you submit for storage.
• The items you submit do not violate any applicable laws or these Terms.

You may not store the following items with Stowrk under any circumstances:

• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons of any kind
• Illegal drugs or controlled substances
• Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or toxic chemicals
• Perishable food or living plants or animals
• Cash, securities, or negotiable instruments
• Human remains, biological matter, or medical waste
• Stolen property or items obtained illegally
• Any item whose storage is prohibited by applicable law

Stowrk reserves the right to refuse storage of any item at our sole discretion. If prohibited items are discovered, we may immediately terminate your storage agreement and contact appropriate authorities without liability to you.

All pricing is provided in your quote and confirmed at the time of booking. Prices are in U.S. dollars and inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

• Storage fees are billed monthly and charged in advance.
• Pickup and redelivery fees are charged at the time of scheduling.
• We accept payment via major credit and debit cards.
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your storage agreement.

Stowrk reserves the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice to existing customers.

Pickup and redelivery are scheduled based on mutual availability. You agree to:

• Be present or authorize a representative to be present at the time of pickup and redelivery.
• Provide accurate address and access information.
• Give at least 48 hours' notice for redelivery requests, subject to availability.
• Pay any additional fees resulting from failed pickups or deliveries due to your unavailability.

Stowrk is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic, weather, or access restrictions.

Stowrk carries general liability insurance covering your stored items while in our care. Coverage is subject to the following limitations:

• Maximum coverage is $500 per item and $2,000 per storage agreement unless additional coverage is arranged in writing prior to pickup.
• Items of exceptional value (artwork, jewelry, antiques, electronics over $500) should be declared at the time of booking. Stowrk may require independent appraisal for high-value items.
• Stowrk is not liable for damage resulting from inherent item defects, pre-existing damage, improper packaging by the customer, or acts of God.
• Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of redelivery. Stowrk will make reasonable efforts to resolve claims within 30 days.

In no event shall Stowrk's total liability exceed the total storage fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

You may cancel your storage agreement at any time with 14 days' written notice to hello@stowrk.com. Prepaid storage fees are non-refundable but will be applied as credit toward redelivery and final charges.

Stowrk may terminate your storage agreement immediately if:

• You fail to make required payments
• Prohibited items are discovered in your storage
• You violate any provision of these Terms

Upon termination, you must arrange redelivery of your items within 14 days. Items unclaimed after 30 days may be disposed of or donated at Stowrk's discretion, with reasonable notice provided to you.

All content on the Stowrk website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by or licensed to Stowrk and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Stowrk's services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
